I don't see any reason why this phone can't be a winner.
The only thing that is, probably e55 will make more attractive option but then people have their own choices.
I for one prefer t9 over qwerty and own n79. I would not mind switching to e series back the moment i get a 5mp cam on that.
The price seems attractive too.
Let's see an e series phone with 5 mp nokia. Am sure you can do it, it's not rocket science!!

I would add to the range the water and dustproof phones as well. I know they are not the typical E series but after the 5500 there was no S60 phone with these and also in E-nterprise world there should be a place for these models.

I like the E52 and it is a nice follower to the E50-E51 line.

I completely understand and agree with your point. But in my (extremely small) experience with local companies I have never seen a business phone without a QWERTY input method. I expect it is a completely different story in much much larger companies where you might not need to email on the go and just need a phone for phones sake, in which case I think this would be an excellent phone for the job, and the E-series as a whole is a much better choice than Blackberrys in my opinion, because there is a phone to suit everyones needs.

But yes, I can see why businesses may choose it, I was basing my point on the company I work for (13 people in total I think) and the general public.

Well if nothing else, if you're faced with equipping several hundred staff who don't need QWERTY for heavy text input you'd choose the E52 because its > €100 per unit less than the E75 and that adds up.

My argument here is that it's a winner because it enables corporates to choose E-series as a range which offers handsets suitable for all their business. Right now most business solutions require you to offer only one or two variants to all your users.

I don't think this phone will be amazingly popular. I can't see why anyone would choose this (or the E55) over the E75, which combines the best of both worlds in regards to text input. Personally though I'm holding out for the N97 (even though I've just stupidly bought an N85).
