N97: Unboxing

A few quick un-boxing images of the N97 in production packaging.  We’ll be reviewing one of the first production units in the UK - let us know your comments and questions in the comments.

    Super eager to check out the N97 but extremely disappointed that O2 won't be stocking it on release!
  • Carphone and Phones4U both have it so may be selling it on O2.

    Unfortuantely I am an O2 direct customer, held back from upgrading on my contract in the hope I would be offered a decent retention deal! Oh well CPW here I come!

    Can you please try out the fm transmitter?

    I’d really like to know what the sound quality is like for music on a car stereo. Can you use it for hands free calls on your car stereo? Will nokia maps instructions play over the car stereo?

    IS the one you going to be recieving the one that you found or another one?
  • This one is the "Search for N" prize - it was the metal N that was hidden
    and I picked the N97 up in the evening. Am going to give it a quick test
    and then... well... watch this space.

    It's a weighty thing - perhaps the first item for the Really Mobile trophy cabinet.

  • Is this N97 pictured here a UK version.? The reason I ask, is because i heard something about the UK version not coming with the Stylus.
  • The firmware says UK, but it shipped with a Euro power adaptor.

    Good taste packaging this time (outside, inside is still a little messy), it reminds me of some B&O stuff I have bought (like EarSet 2 for example)
  • Even the pack seems so "Armani-ish" on the outside. Gotta check it out in depth soon!
