There’s not much we agree about at The Really Mobile Project. Not much.

But we do all think Terence Eden is a thoroughly splendid chap and we’re super-delighted he’s moving to Touchnote the awesome ‘turn your pictures into cards‘ people who pioneered buying physical ‘stuff’ through a mobile app store (on Ovi).

Terence leaves Vodafone to join Touchnote to do – it seems – almost anything mobile-related, but that’s OK… it’s a role he’s superbly equipped for.

I asked him what attracted him to the firm:

Touchnote has already built a fantastic product. I wanted to be part of a dynamic company delivering a killer product into users’ hands. With their expansion into more mobile platforms and my years of experience at Vodafone, they seemed like a natural fit. The British mobile start-up scene has never been so vibrant – I was particularly impressed with Touchnote’s passion and early success. I’m really excited to be working for them.

Best of luck to Terence and if you don’t know Touchnote check them out… They were a great (and more rapid) post-card alternative on my last holiday and the clever self-standing ‘Touchnote card’ has a permanent place on much of my families mantelpieces.

I expect great (mobile) things from them imminently.
