Video Diary: James Whatley on planning MGoLA

by James Whatley on 27th April 2009

Planning for Mobile Geeks of LA is well under-way. We go to the park to look in James’s mobile ‘bag of wonder to take a look at the devices as the popular meet-up heads west from its birth-place.  James also demonstrates wide-screen video recording on the new Nokia 5800 Xpress Music which looks promising.

James has all the details you need on his site.

Argh my ears! I was going to comment mostly on the nice way the video is done – with the transition effect between the cameras etc. Maybe you could play with the volume though? I had put my earphones on full to listen to you and then the ending TRMP noise played and melted my ears. Have fun in LA :)

Thanks David, you're not the first to mention that – we're on it! :)

Ha! I have even MORE gadgets than you in my goodie bag!!

Perhaps I should come to MGoLA with you to show our American cousins what state of the art mobile gadgetry is all about!

AND – when are we going to do another MGoL?

I'm not sure coming up from a squatting position and then pointing out the deer poo directly beneath you is a good idea
