In addition to the 1-month contract and ‘ready to go’ option (pre-pay with a bundled top-up) announced with the launch of 3′s MiFi they have now added some more ‘traditional’-looking contract options too: 18-month contracts for 1GB and 5GB per month.

The two new tariffs include the ’3G broadband over WiFi’ device for free, but charge a £2 per month premium (£12 and £17 per month respectively) over the comparable dongle tariffs. 20 text messages are also included each month in the MiFi tariff, but these will be difficult for customers to access as the device can’t send text messages unless connected to a computer (with the WiFi function off).
