Less of a surprise than it might have been after we caught INQ staff twittering freely from handsets shown by Twitter as ‘My INQ Mobile’ and already confirmed by INQ big-cheese Frank Meehan in a tweet of his own, INQ have today announced the INQ Chat and the INQ Mini - a QWERTY and slim candy-bar handset respectively.
These new handsets will feature built-in Twitter functionality as well as the same Skype, email and social networking integration as the original INQ1 and are likely to be as keenly priced too. No firm announcements about dates or prices have been made - this is likely to depend on operators, as INQ seek to sell the handsets worldwide beyond the ’3′ networks of parent company, Hutchison Whampoa.
The Guardian have the full story - expect it to break across the blogs later today.
